The One Wish Willow as used in movie is an example of what happens when you let someone ignore 2 main genie rules. A rule from the Alladin genie: no making people fall in love. And a rule of dealing with genies: be specific. Bear broke both rules at once and consequences. Rules are there for a reason.

I mean Curry Barker himself said that Bear's wish is inherently evil even if he didn't know it was going to work he did wish for someone's autonomy to be taken from them.

one cool detail in the start of the movie - in the bar scene before it cuts to them walking outside, the first question for trivia was "What is one wish the blue genie from Aladdin can't make?" and the answer is to make someone fall in love with you - i just found it to be fun foreshadowing on my second watch of this movie!

When Bear realized that something was wrong with Nikki, going as far as to labeling it as a mental disorder, and STILL chooses to manipulate her without doing anything to help her, that's when his selfishness shown to light.
