When I was homeless, I spent my first summer living in the Bob Marshall's, in the Rockies. Guarantee you there's people living in the mountains. They don't want to be bothered. A lot of them are veterans. Firest rangers are generally aware of them and don't bother them, because who wants to try to creep up on armed veterans living in the woods?

A mountain lion encounter when you are by yourself in the mountains sounds terrifying especially since the mountain lion would have been hunting you when you did not even know it was there. Gives me chills.
He swears to the crazy forest dude he would never repeat this meeting to anyone and proceeds to swear on his entire family, his life, etc.. he says while recounting the forbidden meeting..How ironic..
