I think the reason Oliver is so quick to defend Mark and risk his life is because one of Oliver’s first memories is Mark risking his life for him.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that this was recorded late. But its kinda clear Oliver DOES now feel somewhat empathetic and goes out to save people in the invincible war even when debbie tried to stop, using her own speech of importance of other's life against her, which ig he now understands.

I love how you can look at Nolan beeing cold towards humans is because his kind lives to long to value a humans live. Oliver on the other hand doesnt value it because his kind doesnt live long enough to value theirs

Remember: Oliver has felt many many traumas and so on because he grows that fast. Bro he experienced his home planet exploding multiple times, everything burning and seeing how his family runs for their lives Additionally he saw angstrom Levi destroying his adoptive mothers arm getting destroyed together with his home Angstrom was there for a looong time, like a few hours. That must have felt like 4 months full of fear for him or even more

something I was wondering is how much force would actually be required for glass to break when invincible and conquest punched each other

As someone who has read the source comic book and know how Kid Omniman ended up....yeah. You're going to owe the lil' guy an apology at the end of this, mate.

Additional information that came out in episode 7: Thraxans have such short lives that they are WAYYY more communally minded than humans, and don't see nearly as much value in the individual (They are big alien insects after all, so them having some hive-mind tendencies isn't exactly out of the question). He also says that because of this, he doesn't really view humans as "people" at least not in the way that his thraxan biology would recognize as people. This means that he's naturally predisposed to behavior that we humans might see as psychotic.

A shame some of this info can be debunked by the newer episodes. Not to mention through Conquest, we see that Viltrumites aren't naturally violent or detached from others, it is programmed and conditioned into them from a young age. Through Conquest, we see that deep down, Viltrumites do want companionship but positive emotions are considered a weakness in their culture.
