Physicists Create First Ever Time Crystal We Can See With Our Eyes
New Discoveries: Making Time Crystals Visible and Practical
Explore the latest breakthroughs transforming the theoretical time crystal into a tangible entity observable with microscopes. Understand how these repeating temporal structures promise revolutionary advances in timing, computing, and secure communication.
Short Summary
- Develop practical time crystals observable by the human eye (via microscope) using standard liquid crystal technology, not just complex quantum setups.
- These new iterations confirm time crystals deviate from fundamental thermodynamic limits by exhibiting periodic motion without external energy input at their lowest state.
- Future applications range from developing super-accurate quantum clocks and RAM analogs to creating anti-counterfeiting measures. This video breaks down the definition of crystals versus time crystals, charts the progress from hypothetical concept (2012) to visible manifestation (2025), and outlines their potentially game-changing uses in technology.

It's getting common to hear 'despite sounding like it is out of science fiction, it's real,' these days.
Every day, I wake up in a low energy state. Yours truly, Time Crystal
I used to be addicted to time crystals. Somehow I lost 10yrs.😅
They achieved times lowest energy state by combining the night before Christmas, 5 minutes before summer break, the last hour of work on Friday with a visit to the DMV. Several of the scientists are still in recovery.
Whoops, accidentally created a tesseract
"Time crystals might be important in the future." 😂😂😂😂😂
I can see a practical communication application like creating a flashing sign that says “Eat At Joe’s”.
I like how Anton makes videos to explain that article I read earlier, but didn't fully understand He's doing a great service
Thank you, Anton, for your excellent coverage of scientific progress! The potential applications of time crystals are very exciting.
Great, gonna have Timesplitters all over the place now.
