I think it's za-pier not zay-pier. Because the name comes from 'zap'.
Isn’t the point about posting on reddit consistent with what you’re saying? If reddit is used as a source and your brand is not mentioned then that is another avenue you need to get on (not just those third party listicles you were showing). So wouldn’t a comprehensive GEO strategy include using your brand to post on reddit as much as possible (assuming that’s used as a common source in your industry)?
