I met Vanilla Ice a few years ago. My two memories: 1 - I was surprised to find I was taller than him. The flattop had always led me to believe he was like 6'6" or something. 2 - He was friendly to fans, and didn't take himself too seriously.
I was in Boston for 1976, made you proud to be American. Camped out to see the midnight re-enactment of the crossing of Concord Bridge, watched Old Ironsides salute the Queen as she sailed in on the Queen Mary with a two destroyer escort, ran into her and her body guards leaving a building and got to say hi, watched the tall ships sail in, the fireworks, the endless fife and drum cores. And much more. That is how a proud nation celebrates Democracy!
Where's Ted Nugent and Kid Rock?
I read some article on all the ‘Big Stars’ they had lined up, and I just sat staring at the words, ‘Vanilla Ice.’ Ok….
They can’t have suddenly gotten morals , so I’m guessing the PR people said pull out.
