Even if you are ingesting massive amounts of copium and believe that Winds will come out, surely NOBODY thinks that A Dream of Spring has any chance whatsoever.
GRRM has been on 1100 pages for Winds of Winter for 4 years lol
Bros like that sponge bob episode where it takes forever and reveals he just wrote “The” 😂
I’m frankly shocked that George’s relationship with HBO hasn’t completely broken down
Has anyone told George he can just say "No" to adaptation requests? 🤷♀️
Not finishing the books will really hurt his legacy more than these adaptations' inaccuracies... so tragic for this world-building masterclass.
I saw him speak at a SDCC in the 80s before he had really done anything more than Wildcards and some TV. He was really full of himself back then, talking about how we wrote to make money and that's it. Didn't care about fans or editors or anybody else. nothing has changed
"I'll try" is what we call a "slow no"
I just wish he would say, " I'm just doing it for the money and I make more money doing other stuff than the things I've said for years I would have done soon"
