Charlie not being able to go anywhere without security was a red flag for me sounds like control reminds me of Scientology

Farm wife here. Farmers are being squeezed out, surrounded by solar fields and AI centers in rural America. Farmers can't compete with what "they" are offering to landowners for the acreage. I won't be surprised if once they create the famine they'll confiscate what farmers do have to "manage" the distribution their way. I didn't know about the chicken food issue, but I can tell you people are always telling us their chickens have stopped laying and and our chickens never do. I assumed it was a difference in husbandry but now that you mention it, we don't buy commercial chicken food ever. They're fed grain we grow on the farm without chemical and premium kitchen scraps plus they have access to unlimited free range acres and spend most of their time on our alfalfa in the summer and our wheat grass in the winter. Remember if you're raising chickens it isn't sustainable if you aren't the one providing their food (or getting it locally) and if you aren't hatching your own chicks (or buying them from a local hatchery- not a local store that is having them shipped in. It's fine to do it that way to get started but try to get more and more independent. And remember to be better to your livestock than our overlords are to us. Speaking of organic grain, I wish everyone that could would buy a grain mill (I like the mock mill 100 which is a high quality stone mill at a competitive price- share one with your family if need be.) and then find a local farmer who grows wheat etc. You can buy grain online, but it's high time you start connecting with food on a local level. (It's more hassle than it's worth for most farmers to sell you a few buckets of grain but they'll probably do it because it's such a worthy endeavor.) Finally, since Candace brought up food- I'm extremely concerned with how unaware the general population is on how much they eat in a year. I guess this is because families are often not together for meals and so many meals come as kits or people are eating out or at functions or filling up on packaged snacks that they have completely lost touch with how much food it takes to live. It would be a very good exercise to write out a three month menu and every ingredient you need to survive if you were cut off from traditional food supply chains. This is far easier than it sounds. Just knowing what it would take will open up a whole new mindset to how vulnerable we are to food supply shenanigans.

It always gets to me that it's only now after Mel Gibson ranted many years ago that people are beginning to understand that what he said about the Hollywood Jewish Mafia is true.
