"Not bad" "performs extremely adequately" As a German, these are the most powerfull compliments! Guys, we did it!
100% understand the philosophy behind using a $1500 grinder to test a $60 espresso machine, but would also loved if you did try it with a $250 grinder just to see whether you still thought the espresso was decent enough
ALDI should market this machine now with a badge from James: "Surprisingly good."😄
“I’m happy. I’m surprised. I have a lot of feelings.” Perfectly captures why James Hoffman is a treasure
Rather than calling this machine impossibly cheap, I would rather say that entire coffee industry is ridiculously expensive.
The water you used is probably more expensive than the espresso machine. I love it.
Ive watched a 20 min video on a coffee machine I most likely won't buy.........and I enjoyed it
14:27 "performs extremely adequately" is what my spouse says to me every month
I've just got a cheap espresso machine, my philosophy is if I buy a cheap one and use it till it dies I'll get a better one. If I use it and it lasts ages, great. If I don't use it, it's only cheap. New hobbies always need a low entry point and experts showing how to get the best out of these low cost options. Wish me luck
As someone who works at Aldi, who hates how overworked we are sometimes, but it still brings a smile to my face knowing we sell good quality stuff for the price.
