I’m sorry, but the explanation is corporate BS. The problem is obvious, hiring Haskell engineers is super expensive, while the Python devs market in the US has crashed under so many layoffs. They know they will have to deal with more issues, but they’re hoping that with AI and cheap hires they can more than compensate.
