ssh terminal.shop Yes, seriously, this is my company, and we selected and found some of the worlds best coffee. US only (for now (the world is hard when you don't do crappy influencer coffee))
Interesting times, Claude preferred to lure them into python than learning to use Haskell
"This author is a manlet in the category of endo-failures" - Haskeller's, probably.
Kinda sounds like the CS equivalent of having a midlife crisis and buying a corvette. No judgement, just saying.
Bro realized "compile time is the issue?" and then switched to an interpreted language bringing compile times to zero lol
success avoided successfully
Let's wait until they see the runtimes of the python bloat combined with several months of llm bloat... seems too much like a 180 from people who don't know the other side.
Going from Haskell to Python seems regressive.
I was watching this video with my wife and I paused it right before the language choice reveal "I swear to god if they chose something like python or ruby I am going to DIE" 💀
I’m sorry, but the explanation is corporate BS. The problem is obvious, hiring Haskell engineers is super expensive, while the Python devs market in the US has crashed under so many layoffs. They know they will have to deal with more issues, but they’re hoping that with AI and cheap hires they can more than compensate.
