Get started with CodeRabbit here: https://coderabbit.ai?utm_source=techwithtim A few weeks ago, Anthropic released their Claude 3.7, and 3.7 thinking models. These are the state of the art models. They perform significantly better in coding tasks, and I decided to take those few weeks to mess around with them and see how they perform inside of Cursor and inside of Windsurf for real world coding tasks. So I'm making this video today to share with you my opinion on these models, as well as give you some tips and tricks on how to best utilize these, and some settings that you can enable inside of editors like Cursor to really get the best performance. 📬 Join my Newsletter: https://techwithtim.net/newsletter ⏳ Timestamps ⏳ 00:00 | Thoughts on Claude 3.7 03:33 | Using Claude 3.7 in Cursor 05:35 | Web App Demo 06:43 | Planning & Best Practices 09:36 | Common Issues 09:55 | Cursor Settings and Tips 15:05 | Version Control Hashtags #claude #cursorai #aiagents

I've been coding for 40 years, starting with C in the 70's. I'm retiring, and it looks like Just In Time!

love how deep you went into testing claude 3.7 I had a similar experience and pairing it with genum ai in workflows made it even smoother for complex agent tasks

I'm having quite a bit of fun with Cursor. Looking forward to the MCP video. To me as someone that enjoys programming for random tasks but don't have the time to sit down for hours to do it I can just have a conversation with Cursor and get it going. It took some time to understand how it works and quite a bit of patience but the results are mostly rewarding and I think the process it is kind of fun (as it is frustrating).

Ive been following you since a year Tim, and am in love with your content, and the amount of knowledge and descriptiveness you share in your videos. This urged me to give you a fun challenge: Build an app using cursor ai, which integrates MCP, which integrates Langflow RAG, Supabase, Stripe/ Razorpay, Langflow RAG further integrates multiple Al tools. Up for it? Would love to see such complex things made simple at Tech with Tim ❤. Lots of Love from India 🇮🇳
