He stole the show, in a movie with Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Mélanie Laurent, Diane Kruger, Daniel Brühl and Eli Roth. That's how good his performance was oO'

I think what really blew my mind more than anything with Hans Landa as a character was how effortlessly he swapped between other languages. It gave me the impression that it didn’t matter who you are or where you come from, Hans Landa already knows everything about you.

Christoph Waltz's Hans Landa is a prime example how to make a villain truly intimidating without them being aggressive or physically scary-looking. Masterful work.

The way he changes his face from friendly to ice cold just before he says “You are sheltering enemies of the state, are you not?” is probably the best bit of acting I’ve ever seen.

Can we also appreciate the performance of Denis Ménochet as the French farmer too? His reactions were incredible with barely a word. They both nailed that scene.

He didn't "steal" every scene.... he "owned" them....
