Wow I thought this was going to be a run of the mill interview but that was kind of fascinating
The best use of his trademark… that being shooting on IMAX film… so far has always been INTERSTELLAR
The actual first time I've ever seen any demonstration of color timing / analogue color grading online – and believe me, I have looked. Very appreciated!
I'll pay extra to see movies doing this way. This is a true artistic skill.
Absolutely insane how much work goes into just the filming & cutting!
Nolan in the last few minutes was super engaging and brought up a valid point, communal experience of drama is as old as time and will persist into the future
With it’s 2.5min run time, noisy mechanism and glue editing, perhaps iMax reminds Nolan of his Super 8 youth.
