For a long time, eating a hearty beef/lamb veggie soup was the only way I could afford to eat well. I made bone broth with roasted bones. I would brown some shanks, saute carrot, onion and celery in the the same pan and add it all to the pot, de glaze with a little red wine, add that and the bone broth along with whatever other veggies, seasoning and simmer as low as possible until the meat falls apart.

It was grandma's chicken soup and it is good for you because of the collagen from the bone marrow, the rosemary, oregano, thyme and Marjoram ...

The vegetable soup I grew up on had a couple of big lamb shanks in it. Contained lots of meat but we still called it vegetable soup
I ate a 'quality' guacamole today for the first time in months as I am mostly carnivore. Last time for that. I went into SPASMODIC coughing. Obviously my body did NOT want that.
Dairy is hard for me! Dr Chaffee is 👍 on
That's my thought. Only eat our seasonal berries, cherries, and a couple fruits, such as peaches and apples. There really isn't anything else that naturally grows here. Short season vegetables, too. Carnivore only 8 months of the year. Easy to do.
