I've always punished with teaching. Consequences and education at the same time. No consequences is a preparation failure for real life.

The answer is not "No TV for a week", the answer is no TV.

There's a happy medium between NO punishment ever, and excessive or disproportionate punishment. Timeouts or "no TV for a week" are suitable punishments for some offenses.

My daughter was providing nice discipline to our grandson until he turned 5. He was growing into a spoiled brat. I told her even at 28 she’s not my friend, just like he isn’t her friend. Kids need a parent who is rooted down, expecting you to be a good person who makes productive decisions. Your child at all stages of life ought to fear disappointing God first then you. Unplug your kids from the digitized world folks. Yes, you can hit your child—appropriate level of striking—as punishment. It’s not the answer to all issues but it’s a great tool to have. Striking your child can be done in an emotionally regulated way. Listening to weak men/women about how to run a family and society is what got us where we are today as a degenerate society. Nothing set me straighter back in the 80’s than a justified butt kicking by my dad.

This is good PART of the discipline, typical of a female approach and it is essential. However, male father type of discipline is also required for whole results. That part includes anger directed at child's actions and at the level required a corporal punishment. We are after all a primate. Primates hit for discipline so, maybe paradoxically don't discipline your non-primate pet dog by hitting it, it does not have instinctive understanding of it as discipline. All primates do. Another animal kingdom example to explain what happens when discipline is not balanced from both approaches: in 1960s and 70s preservation in Africa advanced and new national parks were available for population of elephants. As their societies are matriarchal and as transporting large adult males is hard a practice emerged of relocating just females and young... By 1980s a never before seen behavior emerged in the locations where such groups were relocated. Teen-equivalent elephants became destructive and aggressive not only within species but killing other species, aimlessly destroying forests and so on... Because female, maternal discipline as described in human form in the video is not enough. Nature is not kind, Nature and life are vicious by default. Solution that worked in no time? -Introduction of adult male elephants who indeed practiced physical punishment...

Doesn’t work. Look at the youth and young adults in California. I give up on that generation 🤦🏽‍♂️.

Sounds good but it’s not reality. These children come home from school changed. And not in a positive way. Then add the jabs they’re forced to get by the school cistern. Programmed is what you get. Try nice discipline your child will hide. Any discipline they will hide. No discipline they will hide. The vax and schools are destroying the children !
