Conservatives wouldn't believe they were being "persecuted" if it hadn't been for the liars and demagogues at Fox News pushing this unreasonable narrative into their minds.
Listening to this reinforces my impression that a good part of America's crisis of governance is the religiosity around the "founding fathers" and the constitution as if it were Gospel. Democracy has to be seen as a continual work in progress and not encoded in static texts and institutions.

There is a Death Cult propelled by Dominionism cloaked in the Prosperity Gospel which is indoctrinating our children - THIS is far more of a threat than our Coastal Intellectuals seem to grasp. Megachurches are THRIVING - and they are now EMBEDDED IN THE WHITE HOUSE.
