I’m only 31 minutes in to the video but I had to comment that I’m really grateful for this conversation. I also worked at McDonald’s at 16 and had similar revelations. I also worked for and organised live events in my 20’s I’m currently 5 years into starting an activity business from scratch and it’s been amazing. I’ve learned a ton and it’s done well ie grown steadily. I’m currently stressing about not selling out my latest event as fast as my previous ones. This video reset my calm. ….reminded me of that early training… and made me realise that if my latest event tanks, it’s just training. I’ll live to crash and burn another day. I still have the experience and the hunger. Thanks so much guys. One thing I have to disagree with you Chris is that the North East isn’t full of Entrepreneurs. Loads of canny geordies out there mate. They are amongst the canniest of the brits. You being a great example . In my circles , two of my business mentors have been Geordies.
