It's not easy to listen to that quiet inner voice, especially when your heart feels torn. But the fact that you're even considering making a hard choice making a hard choice means you're already on the path toward growth. That tug-of-war between staying and leaving is real it's your mind trying to protect the familiar and your soul reaching for something more honest and free. Sometimes we stay not because it's right, but because we're scared of starting over. And that's okay fear is part of being human. But here's the thing: your peace matters. Your happiness isn't selfish. You deserve a life that feels like yours, not one where you're just surviving. Trust that your strength will meet you on the other side of this decision.
My impending breakup is taking up 80% of my brain time
I think there's a difference between coddling a 9 year old vs. coddling your partner when she's acting like a 9 year old
Just ended an 8 year relationship after a year and a half of going back and forth. Listen to your gut and intuition, especially if those doubts are significant and persistent.
When it takes real effort to smile, laugh or just say "i love you" its time to hit the road.
5:38 A lot of the people who have the opportunity to choose partners are probably hard workers. To be a hard worker you need a pain tolerance. And if your pain tolerance is quite high, that means your pain tolerance for emotional deprivation is quite high. Which means you’ll stick around in a relationship that is t serving you for a very long time. Spoke to me.
Yeah. My partner and I are splitting up. And I'm happy about the level of maturity we both excibit. There is just this one thing that makes it miserable for the both of us, and we'vr had several conversations for quite a while, and now we got to the bottom of it. It's just nok possible to keep going, then we would choose misery and being aware of the hell we are willingly accepting. For the first time in my life I'm able to split up on good terms. Thankful of the growth that's come out of this. Before I would think "never again in my life!" But now I'm optimistic about the future in every sense. Great video.

Is there another clip where you let the PhD guy talk and you just listen?
I wish it worked so much, and it hurts, but now he is free and I’m free to grow alone… painful but sometimes it’s better to be alone than in a relationship that hurts both people.
