Chris, I'm 59. I'm a little behind the 8 Ball these days. I have been fit and strong my whole life, but unfortunately, the lifestyle decisions I made in my 20s left me with a failing heart. Quite honestly, I don't know how much future is in front of me. I'm writing to you to let you know that I discovered you about 3 years ago, and you gave me hope that the generations coming up are paying attention to the world. The growth you've shared with all of us is a testament to the fact that life is about growth and self-assessment. Your journey has shown me how to be a better man, husband, and father. I don't know you, but I love and respect you. Chris, with joy and intention, love your life, your family, and your friends. Lastly, in the words of Billy Joel, "Don't take shit from anyone!" Man, that part at 29:47 hits home. That feeling of always being behind, getting to the end of the day and feeling guilt for not doing everything I was "supposed" to do. The thing is, I'm not a workaholic. The guilt never translated into actual productivity, just...guilt.
