RIP Tony Todd 🌹
Jaby: "Be smarter than the prequels" Well actually..about that 😂
To answer Kristen , that’s the consequence of Sam living. If he died on the bridge then Molly would have lived because she wouldn’t have taken the flight to Paris. The only reason she is going to Paris was because of Sam.
The actor playing the detective is Courtney B. Vance. His wife is Angela Bassett.
Never riding another roller coaster Never getting acupuncture Never getting eye surgery Never parking on the train tracks Never going to nascar Never riding the subway Never going to Paris Never riding a motorcycle Never doing gymnastics Never bringing a gun to a restaurant Never working in a warehouse Never getting on a fire escape Never working as a mechanic And damn sure never driving behind a log truck
Fun facts: •FD5 has the longest "opening disaster" in the film series. The bridge disaster lasts 4 minutes and 44 seconds. • Isaac's cellphone is a Motorola StarTAC. These were high-end cellphones first available in 1996. • Most of the death sequences are based on real life incidents. The opening bridge collapse is inspired by the Tacoma Narrows Bridge which collapsed on Nov. 7, 1940 due to high winds and the only fatality was a Cocker Spaniel named Tubby. Additionally, someone has died from an acupuncture needle stabbing into their heart after falling off the table. • The Blu-ray release features two alternate death scenes. At the massage parlor, Isaac does not die because his head is smashed by the Buddha statue, but because he is standing in the puddle of liquid, and is engulfed in flames when it ignites & Instead of having just one eye burned, both of Olivia's eyes are burned during the laser eye surgery (although she still falls to her death). • At the end of this film, after Flight 180 explodes, its landing gear crashes into a bar, killing Nathan. According to a news report shown on a TV set that Alex Browning watches in the first Final Destination movie, the majority of the debris of Flight 180 fell into the Atlantic Ocean after it exploded shortly after takeoff from a New York-area airport. Thus, it would appear that the landing gear would be the only piece of debris that fell on land; the fact that it kills Nathan shows the craftiness of Death's designs.
The best plot twist in any movie franchise, because even when you've seen it, you never see any giveaways that this is a prequel
Jaby: the black dude survived!!!!!! Me: fuck!!!! You jinxed it!!!!
"Have none of these guys heard of this happening before?" Me: 🤐😏
"I see dead people!" is another clue to it being the year 2000. The Sixth Sense had been released in 1999 so the twist was fresh in everyone's minds at the time.
