Fun Fact: The King and Queen were played by James Earl Jones and Madge Sinclair. They reunited again in 1994 to play the King and Queen of the Pride Lands and were Mufasa and Sarabi. This movie was so much fun!
This movie has soooooo many quotes that I say to this day
It's funny that they think of it as a "cameo" by Sam Jackson. Sam wasn't a famous actor when this movie came out. This was just him as a working actor having a small role.
I sing “She’s your queen to be” to every woman in my family when it’s their birthday. 😂
Fun fact: The procession to the introduction of his betrothed in the beginning was choreographed by Paula Abdul. ❤
Not only is James Earl Jones the voice of Mufasa, but his wife Madge Sinclair in this movie is the voice of Simba’s mother.
This movie not being PG-13 did not stop us 80s kids from watching it over and over. In the 80s, we watched the Care Bears and Rambo simultaneously 😂
58:35 Fun Fact: John Amos and Madge Sinclair here played husband and wife in the original Roots miniseries RIP to them both and James Earl Jones 🙏🏽🕊
JUST LET YOUR SOOOOUL GLOW 😂😂😂😂 this movies has to be the most quoted has to be
Always liked how McDowell refused the king's $1,000,000 the very instant he felt his daughter was insulted. Didn't even take a moment to consider it.
