They did a reunion Skype (zoom?) call with the kid actors decades later and Arnold surprised them by joining the call. It’s very fun to watch. I highly recommend looking it up
It's not a tooma
I've had terrible migraines my whole life, even as a very young child. I would tell my mother that I had a brain tumor. When I was about 10, she convinced the doctor do a CAT scan. No surprise, I didn't have a tumor, lol. Years later, we went to see "Kindergarten Cop" in the theater. When Arnold said, "It's not a tumah!" my mom could not stop cackling and had to step out of the theater for a few minutes until she could get herself under control. Still a running joke in the family.
If I remember right, this was the movie that proved that Arnold Schwarzenegger absolutely has acting ability beyond just an action star.
Kindergarten Cop is seriously like a certified classic film at this point. Love it! So much heart, so much fun!
I love the scene where he confronts an abusive dad
Kindergarten Cop is one of my favorite movies
A man built like Arnold definitely would be popular at the teacher meetings
The kids in this movie are incredible
I’ve really grown to love this movie, especially now that I’m a former bodybuilder turned middle school teacher. When I first started substitute teaching, the reactions I got were almost identical to Arnold’s in the film—it was wild! I mean a 6'5'' 285lb teacher walking around will get a response. LOL I originally saw it back in 1990 when I was 18, at the theater. Fast forward over 20 years, and after two years of teaching, I couldn't believe how relatable some of the scenes were (minus the guns and drug dealers, of course—LOL). It’s become one of my all-time favorites. Now at 53, I’m still lifting weights and doing my best to guide the next generation.
