My a1c was 14 back in September. The bs that day was 344. I had a terrible healthcare team. They tried to give me meds, but when I reminded them I didn't have insurance, there was no further communication. I had to do everything on my own. I started walking more and eating cleaner. I knew what made my bs go that high, so I cut pop, and everything that had tons of carbohydrates. I stuck to eating cleaner and have watched most of your videos. Your advice has been invaluable. The new healthcare team tested me last week. My a1c is now 5.7.
This was honestly one of the most eye-opening breakdowns I’ve seen on insulin resistance. Huge respect to the woman who brought her A1C down from over 10 to 6.5—that’s no small feat. But what hit hardest was the reminder that normal glucose doesn’t mean normal insulin. Those post-meal spikes and delayed insulin clearance tell the real story. The “don’t eat after 3 PM if your glucose is over 90” rule might sound harsh, but the science makes sense. Also really appreciated the honesty about stress and trauma affecting cortisol and blocking progress. This wasn’t just a lecture—it was a wake-up call.
I'm overwhelmed by your comments. Thank you all for caring so much 💗 💓 💖
Praying to the great physician to heal Patrick and give him total mobility again
My A1c was 9.7 in early Nov. My Dr was freaking out on me. He prescribed me Metforman. I told him I will do without. But I had him give me a script for the Libre3 CGM. My insurance wouldn't pay so I pay for it myself. That made all the difference to me.I log everything in Cronometer. I do pretty good on 16/8 but not perfect. And I occasionally spike to 180 in the name of science. :) But my A1c is down to 6.2 and I am down 35 pounds. Sometimes it sure seams like I will never get under 100. But just last night was my first time breaking under 100 for my glucose. I want to thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
I have been keto for 8 years. I am a long time viewer! This video was the best thing I’ve ever watched! I am 53 & a Nurse of 30 years. This video made me realize I have reversed my insulin resistance!!! I am in a new season of life with 2 grands under 2! This has brought so much temptation with parties! I have cheated so many times but get back on track! Thank You for sharing Your brain with us!
Oh wow this was so good! I just checked my glucose 60 minutes after dinner and I’m so happy it’s 90!!!!! I’ve been carnivore for a while trying hard to lose weight and feel great.
What is too much food?
In Nov 24, my A1C was 13.5 with a glucose level 963mg/dl ICU status. I was put on 12 units of insulin and 500 mg of Metformin. By January, I was able to get my A1C to 7.8 and was taken off insulin up to 2000mg of Metformin. By April I'm at a A1C of 5.8, no more meds. My goal now by July of a A1C of 4.8. My LP(a) is 14. I'm 51 and feel like I'm 30. Thanks for your help, Dr. Boz.
Prayed for Patrick. I have a friend that had a massive stroke and he has fully recovered. Have faith.
