When I was first diagnosed with hypertension and hyperlipidemia, I told my doctor I was not interested in treating symptoms. I would rather look into the root cause of my health issues. She rolled her eyes at me. So I started researching on my own and turned to Youtube channels like this one. As a result, I’ve changed my lifestyle, to include diet, exercise and sleep. Six years now and doing great.
The blood pressure machines they use at hospitals now make my blood pressure higher than when someone does it manually with that arm wrap because the machine squeezes so tight and I panic that it will malfunction and hurt me so my blood pressure is always high on those things. I really hate it. 😭
Retired MD here. TY, Dr Berg, for all you do in educating people. Much appreciated!
The sun is EVERYTHING!
I had pre-hypertension for the last 20 years. I changed my diet remove sugar and my blood pressure dropped to a normal number.
Mine went from 150-160/90 down to 118/70 just by changing my diet no sugar and carbs, isometric exercises ,walking, lifting 5 pound weights, D3 with K2 ,magnesium glycinate ,nattokinase and 16:8 fasting. Im 62 and feel great. Thank you Dr Berg for all your advice
So true. you have to be an advocate for your own health ❤
I have white coat syndrome, so I do this breathing exercises before I get my blood pressure taken at the doctors and it actually works.
STAY HYDRATED!! Being even slightly dehydrated will bring it up by 20.
