I think some problems (particularly on cars like BMW) are caused by poor servicing regimes. The “Condition Based Servicing” in my opinion is just an expensive long term furphy; oil has to be changed on a regular basis in any car, but especially on a BMW with their rubberised seals/gaskets. And who ever thought it was a great idea to never change the transmission or diff fluid FFS🤦‍♂️
