Had our Volvo EX30 Performance for 2 years now in the UK and absolutely love it. Built like a tank, comfy, has a personality, and is a rocket ship
This car had so much potential. So sad it won’t get a refresh
I agree with Will Kaufman. It’s a well designed car, it’s small, and I can charge at home and not pay $4:00+ to fill up. It’s not perfect but it works for me.
Would I regret buying this car for MSRP? Yes. Do I regret negotiating a 2 year lease for $0 out of pocket and $335 a month with a residual of $27K (Twin Motor Plus trim)? Absolutely not.
I have had mine for three months now and no problems yet. I love it. Maybe a bit small, but nothing I regret buying it.
It was removed from our market, largely due to tariffs not really discontinued.
The Volvo EX30 is still getting produced, both in China and Belgium. They stopped exporting it to US, probably because of your increased import tariffs. I agree the EX30 has some flaws, but man, it is so fun to drive😊
We had high hopes for the EX30 when we got it, but they were quickly dashed with how incomplete it felt. Have you had a negative experience with a new vehicle's software or features not working correctly? Let us know in the comments below!
I’ve owned my 2025 EX30 Single Motor ER for 7 months now, and I've put over 10,000 km on it here in Taiwan. Honestly, I haven’t run into any technical issues; the infotainment system and the digital key work great. It’s an excellent car for city driving, and the range isn’t bad at all for a compact EV. I get over 400 km on a full charge, which is actually better than my 2023 Tesla Model Y RWD. Even though I know there are some known issues that annoy a lot of owners, I still don't think it's a bad car to own. In fact, our family loves it so much!
