US/Europe Policy Failures Drive Systemic Economic Risk with China Investment

Discover how the seizure of a subsidiary company exposes deep, unrecognized systemic dependencies and financial risks created by current US and European containment strategies against China.

Short Summary

  • Chinese investors are now rigorously reassessing the systemic risk associated with holding assets tied to European operations following the Dutch seizure of Nexperia.
  • The speaker criticizes both US and European leadership for substituting complex debate with heavy-handed, morally superior containment policies against China.
  • Decades of integrated supply chains and financial flows are highly vulnerable to abrupt political actions, revealing dangerous "unknown unknowns."
  • This analysis highlights that the unseen flow of capital is the most critical economic battlefield, rather than surface-level trade disputes like tariffs.

This overview breaks down the cascading economic effects triggered by the Netherlands seizing the headquarters of Nexperia. We examine why Europe’s geopolitical dependence on the US exacerbates this instability and what it signals for the future of global capital flows when political trust completely erodes.

Can't blame Chinese Investors, who feel that Europe is too risky to invest in because, imagine spending billions to invest in the Netherlands, only to have the Dutch invoke Cold War laws against you? ........ And found out that Netherland is a vassal state of USA .......

The Dutch seizing the Chinese company? How about the Dutch, through thuggery, stealing and robbing the Chinese of their company? The company that previously was run down by the Dutch to the point of bordering on bankruptcy and total collapse? The company that the Chinese rescued from total collapse? The company that the Chinese subsequently built into a powerhouse and an extremely profitable enterprise? The company that the thieving Dutch tried to steal in half a day? Yes, less than half a day: going to the court in the morning and then the court declared it's now Dutch again with no Chinese input or consent. The Dutch are notoriously slow when it comes to their court system, but not when Chinese assets are concerned. The Dutch court only needs a few hours to steal Chinese assets

no more rare earth materials to US/EU, no more investments , maybe even no more Chinese tourists because if EU can do robberies , EU could do kidnapping as well for "national security "

Facts are: 2010 - Europe had every thing. -Cheapest energy from Russia. -With cheap energy Europe is able to manufacture expensive and high quality products. -Exports machinery, automobiles and others to the world with very high prices. -Great trade relation with China, with affordable and quality goods flowing into Europe. -Euro was strong and 2nd most used currency in international trade. -Europe was independent enough to make its own decisions. Today - they throw away all of the above and decided to be a lap dog! Europe can’t blame nobody but themselves! They need to grow a spine!

One thing the Dutch ruling tells me, judges are not fair and just. They are just political tools. Not only Dutch judges. It's basically everything serves the people in power.
