How To Start Seeds Indoors Under Lights (COMPLETE GUIDE)

If you don't have lights that you can lower and raise because you're on a tight budget, and thus buying very basic lights, you can prop the tray up on a box to get it close to the lights. As the seedlings grow, you replace the box with a smaller box or some Tupperware. This seems really obvious, but it's something you might just not think about.

Great video. One thing I also do along with labeling is keep a garden journal with as much detailed notes as I can to have a future reference of what worked, what didn't work, and where I could make adjustments or improvements. My memory can be unreliable so writing stuff down I don't have to argue with myself 🙂

6:28 I tend to put 2-3 seeds per pot, just to be extra sure. Then they all germinate and I cant bring myself to cut the extra ones 😭😂

23:20 ahh "seed leaves." It's fascinating seeing how these proto-leaves look very similar across species of plants. It's like nature has determined the minimalist ideal shape and size of leaf, just enough to get things started properly. Nature is incredible!

For tomatoes, I sow up to 8 per cell and separate them after they grow about 3" tall. From one 6 cell, I now have 48 tomato seedlings after separating and up-potting.

I had a 💯 percent germination from all my seeds I purchased from your website and I never have had that kind of success with any other seed company before.
