I too lost 10kg in 2 months from berberine. It works. Killed the sugar cravings by killing the sugar loving bacteria. Killed the salty carb, late night cravings too. I took 500mg morning and night. I followed dinner with my home fermented raw honey with turmeric and pepper corns as living probiotic to support good bacteria growth and my Curcumin well over the rdi because I ain't getting any younger.. Dietary fibre is a must to feed the good bacteria. I didn't try the 5htp instead I used oil of oregano/Black seed oil blend that helped with moods while detoxing off sugar. Berberine works people.
