Throughout this video we'll be breaking down the movie and discussing everything including the book. This contains the easter eggs, hidden details and also the changes Jackson made from the work. I've loved breaking down this trilogy and hope you guys have enjoyed it as well. So for one last time please smash the thumbs up and with that out the way, let's get into the breakdown. authority is not given to you to deny the return of the king  Ok so incase youre a psychopath and you're watching this without seeing our two tower breakdown then here's a disclaimer about the films and books. Originally Jackson just wrote this as two scripts before he was convinced to sell it as a trilogy. However a lot of the work had been done in terms of what was going to be in those two films. Because of that a lot of the Two Towers is stuff that the writing team made up or expanded. Because of that a lot of the things that happen in the first...2 hours...that can't be right...two hours is just the first half of the movi...oh God this is a four hour and twenty minute long film.. Becuase of that a lot of things that happen in the first half of the movie actually happens in the two towers book. Because of that I'll be referencing that a lot too and going over the things in that book as well. What was fun to keep the notes organised for. Anyway the movie begins with a scene that was originally shot for the two towers which would've appeared when Frodo reminded Gollum that he used to be called Smeagol.
