Though Aladdin was the first film I saw at the cinema with my family, Jurassic Park was the first one I saw with just my dad. This was the second film I saw at the theatres and it completely blew me away. Aladdin had been something…you know…id watched Disney films at home…so the spectacle on the big screen wasnt something that stuck with me. However, Jurassic Park, even back then, felt like it was something id’ remember forever. Going to the metro centre on a warm july morning we accidentally walked into the wrong screen. The one we were at was already playing the movie and I caught a glimpse of the T-rex in all its glory. Outside I also saw someone had dropped a mini t-rex toy on the ground. Which I kept and yeah…I can still remember this stuff like it happened yesterday.
