Said to leave things open to a sequel Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga quickly signed on. Announced as the finale after The Nun 2 it now gives us the last rites before the franchise is laid to rest… at least for now as development continues on a potential second phase of movies and a streaming series for HBO Max.
