THE CONJURING Last Rites Ending Explained | Real Life Story Vs Movie Breakdown
Breakdown: The Conjuring: Last Rites Real Story vs. Movie Analysis
Discover how Last Rites fabricated connections between the Warrens' first and final cases while analyzing the controversial, decade-long real-life Smill haunting.
Short Summary
- The film ties the Smill haunting, spanning 1974–1989, directly to the Warrens' origin story, which significantly deviates from documented reality.
- Skeptics involved in the original case suggested the activity was a hoax potentially exacerbated by Jack Smill’s prior medical issues.
- The movie provides a romanticized, definitive close to Ed and Lorraine’s story while hinting at future paths for their daughter, Judy. This review compares the film's creative license against the documented history, focusing on evidence collection and the franchise's planned conclusion.

... your house isn't haunted, you're just lonely ... - Ron Swanson
Whole reason I clicked on the video was to see the comparison of the axe man but it wasn’t even addressed
I felt there was a hint that Judy Warren, their daughter, and her husband Tony could be the next generation for more conjuring movies...
Conjuring 1, 2 and Annabelle 3 are my fav.
The only like good part was that one scene w that guy w axe, he was actually creepy but even then he had like 2 scenes and he was a minor ghost only
Wondering when there’s going to be a tshirt drop honouring the sunglasses - they’ve become a supporting character on HS in the space of a week!
I had someone pass out in the theater. It was so crazy. I'd never seen anything like that in my life. We had to carry him out and call 911 but he eventually came back. He just fell out of nowhere. I thought he slipped but he passed out and hit his head.
The ending of oculus gave me chills.
I remember when I came home after watching Oculus and being afraid of looking at the mirror for like a few days
