This channel is one of the few outlets, across all of social media, that realizes the ideological value of viral attention and harnesses it for worthwhile purposes. And maybe most impressively: always quietly. There is a clear philosophical engine to James Hoffmann that imbues me with hope. Best of luck with the magazine!

I'm glad that the magazines aren't tied to a specific timeframe (weekly, monthly, etc), but will rather come out only once you have sufficient great content to share :) Looking forward to being a part of this journey!

I think actual value-added products like this are SO much better than standard merch to add profitability to a YouTube channel. Nicely done!

If you could find a distributor in some larger markets like the US and have it in a few coffee shops in a place like NYC that would be cool. I would go a bit out of my way and grab a cup of coffee while I was at it.

Happy to support a non ad subsidised product that supports local manufacturing in the UK that happens to include high quality content from very talented artists and writers. Looking forward to receiving it, hopefully packaging is robust enough to make it through the Royal Mail network.

Love the idea and, as a journalist, I'm very happy that such unique projects are returning to fill the void left by all the great print and longform content we've lost throughout the years. It's such a shame there's no shipping to Brazil. One of the world's largest coffee producers is still left in the corner as just that—a mere tool in the production chain. I wish I could read the articles and maybe even participate in conversations about such an awesome product, especially as someone who is not just a consumer but also a part of the industry—I work in the marketing and R&D of a café that sources and roasts its own beans. Meanwhile, I'll keep watching and enjoying all your content, as I've been doing for years now. Cheers, and all the luck in the world with this new project!

As someone who used to dream of working for magazines in her younger days, I love to see the very slow resurgence of magazines amongst YouTubers.

I live in Burneside where the paper mill is (James Cropper's), and our village only really exists because of the mill! It's been around since the 1800s and is a great example of traditional craft modernising and keeping up what's going on in the world. Definitely ordering the magazine made from paper that's produced 1 minute away from my house! I've followed James for years and some of the new journalistic content is just superb 👌

As a designer struggling in our AI-devalued industry, it's nice to hear about the respect for talent. Good luck with the mag.

It'd be cool if you also included a digital access option! I'm a regular reader of Babel (a UK-based linguistics magazine) and enjoy that they also have a digital subscription. For international readers, they can still access and support the magazine, but don't have to pay extra shipping and wait longer to receive their copy. Plus, you could still allow people to purchase a copy without being limited to what you can print in a window of time
