Congratulations, Jeff. You're an outstanding teacher and I wish you the best. I'm nearly 62 and, like so many, was recently laid off from my corporate job of many years. It's been a gutting experience and I'm getting more discouraged by the day since retirement isn't going to ever be an option for me. I come to your channel so often to learn new things and am grateful for your content. Good luck - we'll be cheering you on!
“Everthing is figure-outable”, “Don’t punch with your left hand if you are right handed” , wow, learned alot from this video, keep up Jeff!
As a fellow Googler, I totally get every point you made. Rooting for your next chapter 👏🏼
What questions do you have about working at Google? Jeff, have you ever seriously considered starting your own podcast channel? The way you break down tech topics and stay unbiased is something that would thrive in a long-form format. You’ve got a rare mix of insight and calm delivery that people want to listen to — not just for the info, but for the perspective. A podcast feels like the natural next step for your content. Think about it, man a lot of us would definitely tune in. 🔥🎙️ and btw while I am riding my bike to school in the morning i listen to your videos😂
I left corporate because I felt so restricted. I use humour a lot as well and it was draining to monitor it in a corporate environment. It was one among many things. Thanks for sharing! Also, I love the quote "Everything is figure-outable." 🙏
Working at Disneyland changed everything for me. I became bolder, more confident, and less afraid of people. Over time, I built an amazing network across different areas—and now I earn a great income from each group of contacts. It’s proof that growth happens when you step out of your comfort zone.
Wow Jeff, you have NO idea how much inspiration, energy and trust (in myself) you have given me in the last 5 years when looking for a job. There’s many content creators in that dimension but you are the GOAT for me. Because of your no-nonsense, pragmatism, intellect, format style and yourself. I love your ‘bad jokes’ man! The story you decided to share today is moving, honest, relatable -and again, you’ll inspire, motivate and encourage thousands of people. And I am one of them. It feels clear you’ve made an excellent choice in many ways; and especially that you decided that the priority is in rebuilding your relationships. You are gonna nail that man, obviously! Until soon, I will stay tuned. And for now: May the force be with Su. 🎩 ❤ Jonas Braun - Amsterdam
Damn, i thought google was really cutthroat, they allow that much room for failure in the first place? But you did an amazing comeback. All props to you!
What shocked me wasn’t what Black Algorithm How to Escape the Money Matrix says, it was how much I already felt it but couldn’t explain it. This book gave words to my quiet frustration with life, money, and the system. I wish I read it sooner.
