There’s validity to all of the comments. I’m 72 F and not overweight. I eat low carb but indulge in blueberries with my Greek yogurt and drink some wine with a restaurant meal once a week. Plus I eat a LOT of meat which keeps me satisfied for hours. Find what works for you. Find a YT exercise video to help with energy and stamina ! Also, I live alone so no one is stressing me out! 😅😅😅
Zoe is lovely to listen to for those of us that have finally realized we've been lied to all our lives about food nutrition and medicine. She is the sharp, kind and courageous soul they make movies about; the rare backstop of undeniable facts that refutes the massive systemic corruption. The only thing she lacks is a long red cape and an ability to fly (as far as we know).
People eat too much, eat all the time, instead of regular meals. Go back 50 years, you never saw people eating and drinking in the streets, and hardly any fat people, let alone morbidly obese. The magic cure people seek is self discipline.
There seems to be a trend in alt medicine these days of getting hyper fixated on blood sugar. Don't get me wrong it is important but when you're at the point of saying apples are some kind of sugar coated liver destroying time bomb you might be in the area of hyperbole.
As kids, we ran to school 3 miles each way. As teenagers, we walked everywhere, no electric bikes, no parents willing to drive you everywhere, very few fast food options as in just chip shops, but they were generally a special treat. Our mother cooked fresh vegetables / meat / fish dishes, and we would put the top of the milk on our porridge. I knew hardly anyone who was fat back in the 60s, 70s and 80s....
I get bored eating the same stuff though. That's what sabotages me.
Hate these Gundry ads. Great discussion 🙏
The food changed... companies stopped using actual sugar and changed to high fructose corn syrup...and general food started using cheaper ingredients and chemicals....and in general people became way more sedentary...

I really appreciate how blunt she is. We’ve gotten so delicate as a species. Give us the tea with a capital T. 😊
