Comparing Texas/USC to Wrestlemania 18 was an epic comparison. I cannot agree more, Pate!

Preface this by saying I am an old man and live in Texas, but for me the best game ever was the 1969 no. 1 Texas at no. 2 Arkansas. Billed as the game of the century (I know there have been many games of the century). It had a Nielsen rating of 52, which is still the highest rating for a football game both college and professional. Final score was 15 to 14. Incredible.

2011 LSU @ Bama was the first college football game I ever went to, gameday and all. Even though we lost, I’ll never forget what BDS felt like that night. Once in a lifetime experience 4:55

It's crazy how recent this entire list is. 1971 OU vs Nebraska has to be on there. 1969 Texas vs Arkansas. Miami vs Ohio St in 2002. The Flutie Hail Mary game between BC and Miami in 1984. The Choke at Doak, FSU vs UF in 1994. FSU vs UF in 1997. FSU vs Miami wide right I, II, or III. The Stanford vs Cal "The band is on the field" game. Catholics vs Convicts between Miami and ND in 1988. The fifth down game between Colorado and Missouri. Nebraska vs Missouri in 1997. If I sat here long enough, I could probably come up with another fifty.

2006 Texas vs. USC was the greatest game of all time, 2007 Boise State vs. Oklahoma was the most cinematic. Both were the best of the best of what that era of college football had to offer.

Side note on ND vs USC in 05. No Jumbotron in South Bend, replay to the fans not available. We had started to rush the field because the clock was at 0:00

App St. Vs Michigan in 07 makes my list. We were in Norman to go to the OU game and I didn't even want to go anymore, I just wanted to stay in front of that TV and watch it. Also 2012 OU-WVU would have been epic. Tavon Austin was insane.

2008 Texas Tech/Texas. Crabtree walk off TD…. I remember being in awe in watching that on TV.
