I'd love to tell my children that monsters aren't real, but somewhere in this world the people who cancelled Mindhunter remain at large.
Such a shame we didnt get more of this show
"I cannot remember the books I've read any more than the meals I have eaten; even so, they have made me" -Ralph Waldo Emerson
People should have clocked that Netflix hates quality when they soft cancelled this show. They can produce hundreds of shows/ movies that viewers have in the background when they're doing laundry or something. But when it comes time to invest in material that needs more than passive watching, suddenly it's crickets. Hollywood whines about modern audiences being dumb or easily distracted, but they prefer to deliver uninteresting slop instead of stories that grip the viewer.
I am of the firm belief that Better Call Saul was the best show of the late 2010’s and early 2020’s. But man, if Mindhunter had continued beyond its second season, it could easily have taken the crown. Such an incredible show that ended too soon.
If any show needed another season it's MINDHUNTER. One final season would've fleshed everything out. BTK storyline never got the closure it deserved & it was building up so well. One of the greatest fumbles of all time is canceling this masterpiece
By far one of my favorite shows, I was so bummed when they said they weren't making more. Thank you for giving us a little more content about it
its so crazy that this show is so expensive to make considering its almost entirely 3 people talking in a room
Didn't David Fincher chose to not continue mindhunter because netflix wanted more drama, blitz and glamourization of the true crime genre but Fincher didn't wanna bastardize his unadulterated vision for mindhunter so he said no? What a shame netflix. I just finished it and couldn't blink or even breathe by how captivating this show was.
canceling this show is a crime against humanity ....
