I teach culinary classes at a Houston area High School. We watch your videos on a regular basis to expose my students to global cuisine on a more personal level. If you are ever in the area again and are open to speaking to some high school students we would love to host you!
This guy flew all over the world from Thailand to Vietnam, India to Texas for food. I want to say Hi from Pearland, Texas.
His boss is a real one for that!
I just loved Grant Pinkerton's story. To start off in the backyard of your parent house to owning 3 restaurants is inspiring.❤
Texas barbecue has always been off the charts but especially in the last decade or two there's literally hundreds of places that could get a near perfect 10/10.
My wife and I lived in Houston for five years before moving to the Bay Area. After the move, whenever I had to go back to Houston for work or recruiting events, I made a ritual of stopping by Pinkerton’s, ordering a couple boxes of barbecue, wrapping them up, and bringing them home for her. That was my way of saying “I love you.”
Houston is a much underrated city for food in the US. Been lucky to travel there a few times for work. Pinkertons is a must! There’s a pho spot on every corner, Vietnamese seafood, china town is a must and Indian Pakistani food is love!
I’ve lived in Houston my entire life and only heard about Pinkerton’s this year. After watching this video, I am very motivated to get over there and enjoy the brisket, turkey, and chicken.
Thank you for these reviews. I'm born and raised here in Houston since 1971. I consider myself a BBQ fanatic. I BBQ in my own backyard two times a week. I eat my own BBQ everyday at work. I work for a major restaurant chain in Houston with a Major influence on BBQ in Houston. I've never heard of any of these BBQ Restaurants. Thank you for bringing them to my attention. I'll be trying them out.
So insane to think of one of my favorite YouTubers was right around the corner from me at pinkertons !! Thanks for showing off my hometown! H TOWN REPRESENT
