🇻🇳 Vietnam Street Food - Ultimate Pho Tour: https://youtu.be/Feu-DN-UleE 👕 T-shirts: https://store.migrationology.com/ 🌶 Ghost Chili: https://amzn.to/3PNTvNQ HANOI, VIETNAM - Today we’re going on an ultimate Vietnamese street food tour to eat 5 of the must eat Vietnamese foods in Hanoi, that are not pho. I’m hanging out with local food expert @Hanoifood from Hanoi Food. We’re eating some local favorite Vietnamese dishes and some extreme dishes as well. It’s going to be delicious! Thank you to @Hanoifood for taking me on this amazing Hanoi street food tour: Here are all the places we ate: 1. Xôi Xéo Location: Xôi Mây (https://goo.gl/maps/LWXB1Q6ComQP4pXaA) Price: 15,000 VND ($0.63) per bowl One of the common breakfasts in northern Vietnam is sticky rice with toppings. She has to be one of the fastest food assemblers in all of Vietnam! 2. Bún Riêu Location: Bún riêu Hàng Lược (https://goo.gl/maps/WbUu189N5ihHDKDP9) Price: 75,000 VND ($3.15) for fully loaded bowl Pho is extremely common in Vietnam, but there are so many other noodle soups, and bun rieu is one of the best. This place is extremely popular and we ordered it fully loaded! 3. Bún Chả Bún Chả Hàng Quạt (https://goo.gl/maps/QJqbDn8X6miUBKzE9) Price: 45,000 VND ($1.89) per portion If there’s one dish that you have to eat when you’re in Hanoi, Vietnam, it would be bun cha for lunch. The combination of grilled pork in a soup of fish sauce with noodles and vegetables is heavenly. 4. Bún ốc Location: Bún ốc cô Huệ (https://goo.gl/maps/uVRbstsbXmLntvdU8) Price: 40,000 VND ($1.68) per bowl One of Khoa’s favorite local dishes is bun oc, or snails and noodles. We specifically tried the cold version with giant snails! 5. Cháo Location: Cháo Sườn Sụn Huyền Anh Đồng Xuân (https://goo.gl/maps/FJhqyLWhaqjo7xhP9) Price: 35,000 VND ($1.47) per bowl Another common dish in Vietnam is chao, or congee, rice porridge. Rather than being chunk with rice grains, this was one of the smoothest bowls of congee ever. 6. Chả Rươi Location: Cửa Hàng Chả Rươi Hưng Thịnh (https://goo.gl/maps/899cEgbVrh8xhXZK8) Price: 35,000 VND ($1.47) per piece, we ate 5 One more extreme Vietnamese food we had to try was cha ruoi, a sandworm pancake. A little bizarre, but proved to be one of the best meals of the day! Thank you for watching this ultimate Vietnamese street food tour in Hanoi! I've been watching your videos for years now. It all started during my battle with throat cancer when I had to be fed through a tube. Your videos helped me put aside the discomfort of the feeding process and focus on the beauty of different cultures. I instantly became a fan and still watch almost all of your videos. Your genuine curiosity, open-mindedness, and respect for other cultures make you the perfect goodwill ambassador. People like you give hope to our struggling and suffering world. May God bless you and your family.

Props to this tour guide. Obviously, his English isn't top notch, but he tries his best to communicate. His knowledge of the local eateries seems unmatched. The places he took you were quite surprising because the foods featured in the video are quite obscure, but were packed with local residents. He also pronounces his Vietnamese with a very strong northern accent.

There's a reason why Anthony Bourdain ranked Vietnamese food at the top of his list. You just made sure he was right. 👍

Looks so good! I want to eat all of them when I return to Vietnam! I already ate bun cha from that restaurant and I'm in love with that dish! I also love those herb platters they serve in almost every dish I order. The strength of their taste is heaven for me. One time, I went to Sa Pa, and I got sick because of tiredness. I ate a fish pho with lots of herbs and I got better. The dish I ate was like a delicious food and medicine rolled into one. Also, some folks in Trang An gave me green tea for free because we got rained on. My face was shocked when I tasted that tea. It was so good, I haven't drank that kind of tea ever. And I'm an avid tea drinker! Vietnam is a true food haven. I wish more people will get to experience their food culture.

Been watching you for years now dude. Incredible how much the channel has grown. And I'm always so impressed by how adventurous you are. I ate on the streets every day in Vietnam when I visited but very much stuck to beef pho as I was a bit scared! I need to go back and have more courage.
