Description

Today on the Matt Walsh Show, the Trump administration wants to ban people from using food stamps on junk food. This is, obviously, the correct position. And yet, a bunch of conservative influencers mysteriously and suddenly came out against it over the weekend. This is a bizarre story — we’ll discuss. Also, “Snow White” predictably bombs at the box office. RFK Jr. wants to ban cell phones from schools. The only question is: why isn’t that already the policy in every school in the country? And more and more people on the left are claiming that the 2024 election was stolen. What evidence do they have to support that claim? Well, none at all. In 3rd world countries, people in poverty die from starvation. In America, people in poverty die from being fat. Let that sink in.

We had to be on food stamps when I was 11 years old because my stepfather lost his business. My mom was so ashamed that she started shopping for groceries at night. We were only on it for about 6 months and they got back on their feet. That’s what EBT is for. To help you when you’re down. No to live off of.

Democrats think telling a blind man that he can’t drive is discrimination.

I was the manager of a gas station in North Georgia. Every day was the same thing. They’d come in with their food stamp card get Mountain Dew , Doritos, candy ,anything that would fall under the umbrella. Then they would proceed to buy one or two alcoholic tall boys ,Two or three packs of cigarettes and about 2 to 3 dollars worth of gas. It was sickening to watch. I can’t even tell you how many cans of beer and cigarettes I sold to pregnant women, but that’s a whole Nother issue.

In Australia, where I live, students are allowed to bring their phones to school, but they must stay in their bags from 8 AM to 3 PM. I personally used a flip phone, so it didn't affect me, but I know some students who would use their phones when teachers weren't looking. If they got caught, the teachers had the authority to make them hand their phones in at the office. I loved when they enforced the no-phones rule because it encouraged genuine communication. Highly recommend all schools enforcing this.

I grew up, worked, and subsequently shopped in the poor side of San Antonio. I saw MANY people using their ebt for garbage, and then buy steaks, beer, cigarettes, etc... with under the table cash. Believe me, NO one will be hurting if they cut off the garbage.

As a newly retired high school teacher, the smartphone was the biggest disruption/educational emergency in my career. At any one time, 1/3 of my students were playing on their phone instead of working on their projects. About a quarter of the kids would sacrifice their future in order to text, game, or watch entertainment, even if it meant failing all their classes. I had many parent' meetings where I said, "Your child can have a phone or an education but not both." NOT ONE parent ever took the phone away. Often, parents would call their children in the middle of class, as well.

There's a guy that recently got fired from my work, who between himself, his 400 lb gf, and her 500 lb mom, get $1000 a month in food stamps. The two women drink a 12 pack a day, a piece! We need to start thinking in terms of "I am personally sponsoring, through my tax dollars, the inevitable early termination of three lives." I think there needs to be a complete review of EBT eligible foods. Not only would it force many people to be healthier, happier, and more energized, but it would discourage people from wanting to stay on food stamps indefinitely. Handing people everything they want on a silver platter causes complacency.
