We love you Mel! To anyone who needs to hear this: you’re amazing and unique and you’re here for a reason ❤
Since the election, we have not watched news once. Instead, we watch positive podcast including many of yours. We love you.
You change my life by your sincere love for, and dedication to, humanity. Thank you for your courage, your transparency, and your integrity, which is palpable. I go into 2025 knowing that, no matter what, you have my back. And just in case no one has told you (yet) today, I love you.
What a beautiful statement, “He loved me well, and I loved him well.” She was loved so well by her husband, that it sustains her after his death. 💕
I absolutely loved this episode, especially hearing from Tiffany Aliche! Losing my mom when I was just 12 years old had a profound impact on me. Now at 37, I still cherish the memories of how she uplifted me and shaped the way I view life. If I could turn back time, I would have made the most of every moment with her. When she passed away in 2000, so many people came to us, sharing stories of how amazing my mom was. They brought us food and other things, explaining how she had touched their lives—helping people we didn’t even know by lending money or offering food. It’s incredible to think of the quiet kindness she gave to so many.
Good morning Mel, in 2025, I am planning to come to Boston, just to hug you and tell you that I love you too! ❤️
What a lovely lovely man Dr. Dody is.. So successful and a beautiful human being.
I’m a seniorager in my mid 70’s who is still curious about the goings on in this world. I just discovered you recently and now enjoy your podcasts. Today, one of my “curious interests”, the South Korean band, BTS, and Dr. Doty’s book Into The Magic Shop just intersected! BTS has a song by that name that was obviously inspired by Dr. Doty’s book! Didn’t know that before but it’s just another perspective on how his work has reached a segment of society he may have not imagined! Listen to Magic Shop by BTS—it may open your eyes to a mental health tool that I enjoy—exploring cultures & music you wouldn’t normally try.
As a recent subscriber Mel, the 75 minutes spent listening to your "Best of 2024" compilation with six of the most incredible humans / expert contributors was without doubt, the most informative, educational and profound podcast I've ever heard. "Thank you" seems completely inadequate, your collective wisdom is truly life-changing! I'm so grateful to be embarking on this journey with you!
The part on purpose was so impactful. Money is a tool and means to an end. You can show up fully, even without a lot of money.
