I’ve lived with anxiety and panic attacks my whole adult life. When I became a mom, I used to worry I’d pass it on to my kids. Now that they’re 12 and 7, I tell them something I wish someone had told me: "This is great. Your body is working. It’s trying to protect you in a new situation. You’re not broken. You’re built for this." It’s been healing for all of us.
Every day I feel like Im almost dying, I was better but this came back... so well Im not the only one who has fear of going crazy at least...
I started crying hearing this at 16 minutes. It healed me knowing okay I can take my time and when I’m ready I can move. I am so grateful to be able to have access to information like this
It's interesting how, when listening to the podcast, I identified with an issue of anxiety and the trigger was triggered, which is loneliness... in reality, that's exactly what it is, the fear of loneliness... it's not about being alone, it's about loneliness...
Being alone is a big one for me
My anxiety is feeling like butterflies in my stomach and I had them since I was a child the spinning out in my head and nausea.
8 Xanax a day for years and years and it came back 10 times worse… high anxiety is no joke to me!
Anxiety is not a mystery to be solved but a reality to experience
A powerful reminder that the real breakthrough with anxiety isn’t eliminating fear, but learning practical ways to respond to it and take action anyway.
I have had GAD since a kid. And I hate it is a circle: you get anxiety of possibly getting anxiety/panic attack.
