I’ve been using social media since high school, and to be honest, I didn’t realize how much time I was wasting—sometimes over 5 hours a day just scrolling mindlessly. It became a problem, and I wanted to change, but it wasn’t easy. Then my bestie recommended this channel, and after watching some videos and listening to the podcast, I decided to take control. Since September 2024, I’ve been ‘sober’ from social media (except YouTube), and I’m now focused on becoming an entrepreneur and building my own channel. Feeling more positive about myself every day!
If you don't understand that you're supposed to use your phone as a tool, you become the tool !!! 😮😮 AMAZING❤
I am a millennial and left facebook nearly 10 years ago to save my mental health. My mental health has never been better. Now when i tell older coworkers that i am not on social media because of my mental health, I have literally been laughed at to my face and another coworker who is my age has also been criticized for not being on FB. Why is it now considered bad to not engage in something that hurts our mental health? Yes it can be a great tool, and for me, i miss it for certain things but i wont subject myself to addiction just to stay "in the know"
I am using the phone less, starting to put it away 2 hours before bed time and it has been so refreshing. Sundays I am stopping scrolling for the day. Put it out of reach and do fun things with friends instead 🎉
Pick up a pen/ pencil and peace of paper and it will change your world. I use less phone more time writing down what’s on my mind and I am much more at peace.
Change my phone to greyscale yesterday in the morning and by afternoon my used of phone reduce by 70%. LOVE IT!!!
this is really true! I uninstall my IG. But I can’t let go of youtube because of MEL ROBBINS😊
Wayne W Dyer "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." RIP GOAT
I realised something. I am scrolling because i am home and i crave human connection, the only way to connect is thru ur phones. I live alone, dont have a relationship, i work from home mostly
Me: learning how to be off my phone by using my phone to learn about how to not be on my phone 🙃🙃🙃
