Anyone else remember when someone left a pair of glasses on the floor of an art museum and people thought it was a sculpture? Thats how pathetic modern art is.

If chasing a chicken is modern art, I am an extremely talented artist.

Never thought Rachel Maddow would come across the aisle to talk about modern art with Andrew Klavan, but I'm here for it.

True story: Back in the late 1970's, when I was a teenager and an aspiring intellectual, I visited a "world class" art museum. On the floor of one of the galleries lay a 4' x 8' sheet of flat black plywood adjacent to one of the walls. I assumed the wood covered some sort of floor damage and, failing to notice the velvet ropes surrounding the sheet on 3 sides, was standing on the plywood when a museum guard came over and politely but firmly told me to get off of the valuable piece of art. That one experience opened my eyes to what a fraud modern art is.

@michaelknowles I made my "professor" cry because I stated that Rothko's one color painting was objectively not good compared to Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel. I even gave modern art credit-- at least what I could stomach. My "professor" got so mad she started crying.

Michael and Andrew's classy outfits (especially the glasses) are much more artistic than whatever all that was.
