His new album is very spiritual. He mentions Paul even, I hope he is finding the truth in his own way.
This entire album is him releasing himself from his sins and him finding peace with himself. Such a heavenly album and after the After Hours and Dawn FM album being the prelude to the HUT album, it all ties in so beautifully. Almost a decade in the making. It's so hard to listen to old stuff now that I know how he genuinely feels about his past and wishes he didn't do it. Just hope he's happier and finds the love for himself again. He is an amazing artist, him stretching into movies/cinematic stuff, I do NOT doubt he will be at the top of the field within a few years as well if he produces stuff!
If The Weeknd can change, remember you're never too old to either...
He really should have listened to "Give me mercy"
This album is beautiful. Like listening to an opera. Hes a generational artist like no other. He puts so much into his music. Unbelievable talent and his voice . And sounds even better live.
He's probably the best musician out there at the moment imo. His lyrics have depth.
His new album is the last of a trilogy, featuring After Hours (hedonism and self-destruction), Dawn FM (reflection and realization of his mistakes) and Hurry Up Tomorrow (repentance for his sins). The Weeknd once had such devilish imagery in his work but it now genuinely seems that he may be turning to God in his lyrics.
The album is sooo good in full. You need to do the full album in length. Its the final album in a three part trilogy resembeling the Divine Comedy. Hell (After Hours), Purgatory (Dawn FM), and Heaven (HUrry up Tommorow).
0:52 “He released his very last album… Until the next one” 😂
Abels new album is a straight up masterpiece
