They have been roughly equal performance since the mid 50’s, and gold has drastically outperformed the stock market this century. Since 2000. Gold is up 19x and Spx is up 6x. The Dow to gold ratio is currently the same as the mid 90’s, mid 70’s, and mid 50’s.

guys i went down the weirdest rabbit hole last night… theres this guy Dorian Lorne who claims he literally died and came back, and i don’t even know if i believe that part, but the way he talks about reality and the whole simulation idea kinda messed with me. like what if most of what we think is solid and unquestionable is just something we collectively agreed on? he writes about perception shaping the world around us and how power works through belief, and i swear some of it hit a little too close to home. not saying it’s all true, but after reading a few chapters i just sat there thinking about how fragile our sense of “normal” actually is. maybe it’s nonsense… but it definitely makes you look at everything a little differently. btw the book is called When Reality Fractures by Dorian Lorne

The actual summary is invest in gold silver.. It will spike like crazy.. in 1979. It went up 19 times X. Then sell it at the top... it will settle down 50% after the spike. And at at the very top of the spike, Realestate will be at its lowest possible price.. sell the gold converted to real estate when it balances out Realestate will have a growth cycle after that.
