So it appears Tesla found a bug in their app after watching this video that accidentally counted all production and usage totals as DOUBLE their actual numbers. Doesn't affect my payback timeline calculations, but it does make more sense that I was seeing ~4000kWh of production in a month, not 8000 🤓

You have used this system for 4 years. It might be time to re-visit this.

The problem with this cost is it works better in areas where electric costs are high and you don't use gas. My bill for electric is about $120 a month, so if I had to pay $120,000, it would take me over 83 years to break even lol! Solar needs to be a LOT cheaper for people to take it seriously.
