I think my favorite Emma Frost bit in the comics comes from the Krakoa era, when it's shown that she's actually a massive slob and uses her powers to make herself look regal and put together when she goes out in public, but really she's got on a baggy shirt and gym shorts and her hair is all messed up. Like, that's the perfect use for those powers, especially for somebody who is all about appearances.
Trans Cyclops be like "To me my Ex-Men"
With animes, it can sometimes be a weekly episode basis, but it can also be a monthly episode basis, so having a recap at the end and beginning of the episode is sometimes needed, but obviously not the best when you are binging something.
Two six episode arcs in a twelve episode season is very common in anime
0:30 "What are the rules? ... Does it double as a mood ring?" Yes, actually 🤓But with an asterisk. Her psionic armor is made of "memory". She "focuses memories" into the armor and the strength of her feelings towards those memories increase or decrease the power of her armor. The wiki specifically mentions the time that she grew her armor to the size of a building due to her guilt at not attending her recently deceased mother and brother's funeral. Some Fun Facts: - Adamantium is the only physical material capable of piercing the armor, but when Wolverine attempted to stab Hisako, his claws weren't long enough to reach her through it. - The armor's biggest weakest are light-based attacks, like lasers, since the armor is entirely translucent. - While her power's are initially limited to herself, Hisako is eventually able to start creating armor around multiple people. That last fact is partially why I'm BEGGING NetEase to add her to Rivals. She would make for such a cool Vanguard/Strategist hybrid. Something along the lines of a Brawler, like Thing or Hulk, with access to Magneto bubbles.
In fairness, storm getting a bunch of people to worship her could have very easily gone bad.
1:20 Pretty sure the idea is that Cyclops can run four miles in the forest even though the room is only 30 feet across because he can’t see that he’s on a treadmill and the holograms are just rushing past him at the exact speed he’s moving.
“Sulfer smells brimstone ajajent” mate brimstone is sulfur its a term used for solid form of sulfure
13:40 I would like a comic of the X-Men where it is literally them just teaching students a day.
This Cyclopes very much so evokes anime mentor tropes. The Armor training scene was super similar to Goku teaching Gohan how to go Super Saiyan for the first time, right down to lines like "I'm not holding back" while clearly still holding back, and the brief pep talk once the power activated. That's not the only example of a mentor in anime acting like this but it's probably the most famous one. He's been made to act harsher for the sake of fulfilling that popular anime trope. Edit: starting an episode with the end of the previous episode is also very common, especially when padding for run time
