Yesterday in downtown Vancouver a man decapitated a man and chopped off the hand of another man at 7am in the morning in a place where offices & restaurants, coffee shops are located. I decided I gotta get out of this demonic mess. This is happening so much more in Canada and I no longer feel safe.
In Canada crime goes unpunished, the country is falling apart
Isle of Man here, low tax low crime. Leave house and car unlocked nothing ever goes missing, can walk any street alone any time. Love it here
In Switzerland it gets worse with the years. All borders are open, no checks. So many burglaries made by criminals who come from a neighboring country just for the day and disappear especially near the French border.
One city in the US doesn't like to report a lot of crime because it will hurt tourism. That is Lost Wages, Nevada
Never even heard of a crime in Cyprus in 5 years of living here.
I live in Georgia. When I was in a taxi trying to retrace my steps to find my lost phone the driver said "Don't worry, you will get your phone back. It's 5 years in prison for stealing a phone. Nobody steals phones." He was correct of course. I see the news from my old country and I hang my head in shame. How far we sank, and how little we are willing to learn from places that do things so much better.
"These countries have very low crime rates" "Most of these countries are harder to get citzenship in" hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder if there is a correlation....
Yes Singapore, Japan and Iceland are very safe and so is Luxembourg.
High taxes are often a sign of inefficiency, incompetence and a corrupt government. They make taxpayers pay for their poor management and wrong decisions and the resulting costs.
