Holy shit, it’s Ryo. Dude is a super underrated vocalist in the metal scene.
BRO S TIER GUEST . DAMN CHARLIE
no way survive said the prophet and knosis on charlie's video
charlie is just casually snacking with THE ryo
For those who don't know: Yosh sung the ending credits song for Final Fantasy VII Remake! Nobuo Uematsu picked him out himself after attending one of his band's concerts!
No way he got Yosh from SSTP and Ryo from Knosis. If you haven't heard of Ryos old stuff from Crystal Lake you are missing out. Straight bangers 🔥
As a japanese, when I saw someone who says " Itadakimasu " in a restaurant who doesn't speak Japanese, it is so cute and I'm going to die for kawaii. We love people who trying to know Japan and care not like dancing in the train, climbing japanese shrine for tickok or Instagram. What I want to say is hearing people says Itadakimasu who don't speak Japanese is " kawaisugite shinu" sorry if my English is not enough. Why do people feel such strong discomfort toward videos of people climbing on or doing pull-ups on torii gates at Japanese shrines? I was asked this question, and I found it incredibly thought-provoking—it helped me learn more about myself as well. First, thank you for giving me the chance to talk about this. As I mentioned before, part of the discomfort comes from a religious or cultural perspective. But from here on, I’d like to share a more personal story. I’ll speak honestly—when I was in elementary school, I experienced the massive 3.11 earthquake. I lost many friends, and I only survived by a hair’s breadth. One of the reasons I’m still alive today is because an elderly woman in our neighborhood desperately pleaded with the teachers and adults at our evacuation site to take us to higher ground—a shrine built on a hill. Her face looked nothing like her usual calm self; she was deadly serious. I remember being scared. I thought we were already high enough. But her words pushed us to move. And because of that, I lived. So yes, I understand this might not seem directly related to doing pull-ups on torii gates. But the shrine that saved my life was built on high ground thanks to the wisdom and experience of those who came before us—people who built it to protect the land and house the gods. That place, and others like it, are sacred to me. They connect us to our ancestors and the gods who watch over our communities. That’s why it’s such an important place in my heart. So I just ask—before you post a video like that, please take a moment to think. And don’t worry, we Japanese will make sure to come up with things even more fun than doing pull-ups on torii gates. So please, come visit Japan! From just another Japanese person, to a friend.
Having someone from Survive Said The Prophet is crazy, one of my favorite bands.
MORE METALCORE VOCALIST GUESTS, PLEASE. This was fucking awesome
Was NOT expecting them to just randomly have the singer of Knosis on the video
